I'm Sam Nagle, and I'm a software engineer based in Orange County! I've had a love for coding ever since I started during my senior year of high school, where I learned basics of coding through Java in my AP Computer Science class.
I graduated from UC Irvine in 2018 with a Bachelors of Arts in Sociology and a minor in Computer Science. While at UCI I had the opportunity to expand my knowledge in the field of programming, taking classes in subjects such as Data Structures, Databases, and Human Computer Interaction. During this time, I also had the amazing opportunity to work for Dreams for Schools, a nonprofit that teaches middle school students how to code through app development.
I am well versed in JavaScript, PHP, MySQL, HTML5, and CSS3. During my college career, I also worked with Python and C++. I can work comfortably with a variety of tools, libraries, and frameworks, such as Git, npm, jQuery, Bootstrap, and React.js. Having worked on multiple applications, both team-based and solo, I am comfortable with both front-end and back-end development.
